I had the pleasure of working with Mike Hogan to purchase a mattress for my condo. He was able to get everything handled for me over the phone without any hassle. He explained everything really well and the delivery people were also excellent. They delivered my mattress on a sunday and within the time window promised! We were uncertain about shopping for a bed during the pandemic. We took the sleep test to confirm our mattress style preference and it was quite helpful. Mike Hogan was extremely helpful. He was generous with information about the recent developments in mattresses (we originally wanted a Parklane mattress) and about the makers. We are very particular about environmentally friendly materials and construction in addition to a company’s history in mattress building. Mike gave us plenty of... time to try out each of four styles. He did not push us to one over any other and explained our options in the box springs. He was careful in helping us to understand pricing. We came away feeling we had made not only a purchase of a comfortable bed from a knowledgeable seller but one that will last for years to come and be healthier for us.read more

I walked into Parklane on a whim while considering an online purchase of a Saatva mattress which I had slept on a few nights at a friends house. Jasmine , the sales associate on the floor, was accomodating , low pressure, and flexible. She evaluated my needs, listened as I asnwered her questions, and presented multiple options to consider. At no point was she pushy or "salesy" . I found a suitable mattress which was less expensive than my online option, and got it delivered the same weekened,... instead of waiting 6 weeks online for the saatva. The delivery team was professional, wore masks, and were courteous.In a world where every business is aggressively trying to take your money it was refreshing to make a purchase which didnt feel pressured or influenced. Jasmine and the parklane staff were flawless and if I had the need for a second mattress I would surely spend my money here again.TLDR: Jasmine and Parklane rule, buy a mattress from them.read more

I was delighted to find out, after previously learning that the local Parklane factory had closed due to COVID-19, that BedMart is having Parklane manufactured again in WA! The lady who responded to my on-line questions on availability was very helpful, and I have now reserved one of the newly manufactured mattresses! Parklane was highly recommended by by friends and family!

We purchased pillows from them after being recommended by their sister store the BedMart on Glisan Street. Owned by the same person and the customer service was exceptional. Super helpful. We love our pillows too.. The feeling was not about selling you something but about solving your need whether or not it was through them. They also us told us of a couple other stores in the area that we could look.

Today we moved into our new place in Portland (from Pittsburgh, PA) ad our regular box spring would not fit through the door! With a panicked person on the phone (me,) Jasmine was the superhero of the day and found us some closeout split box springs that will fit! She saved the day and was so sweet! My wife Jan & I are very pleased with our experience at Parklane Mattresses. Our salesperson Audrey Morgan was extremely helpful & did everything she could to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We initially selected one of the Tempur-Pedic models, but before long my wife was experiencing some back discomfort. We then contacted Audrey & let her know our concerns & that we wanted to come in to look at other options. We decided on one of the Parklane models & without any issues were able... to make the exchange & receive our new bed the next day. The delivery people were very courteous & careful in & setting everything up. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out & highly recommend Parklane & Audrey to anyone.read more

Walked into Parklane, described what we wanted out of a mattress, tried three different mattresses, settled quickly on the one we liked best. The whole buying process took less than twenty minutes. Set up delivery — it was available for the next day! — and they took away the old mattress for an additional $30. The delivery guys arrived promptly at the beginning of the two hour window and the new mattress was in and the old one gone in less than ten minutes. No funky chemical smell with this... mattress, either (that was an issue with our last new mattress). Parklane is GREAT! Cannot recommend them highly enough!read more

James took the time to explain the differences between all the mattresses in store, Tempurpedic's and Parklane's. After spending over an hour trying all the different kinds of mattresses, I ended up liking the Willamette Ultra Firm spring mattress. There is no pressure to the sale. I left to try other mattress stores. After two weeks of looking at other options, I went back to Parklane and James was there again to help me complete the sale. Delivery was quick and on time. Have only slept on it... a couple of nights, but it's great. No sore spots after sleeping on my back, side, and stomach.read more

This 5-star review is for James and his excellent service. My contact information was lost after I left the store (their internet cut out). However, James remembered I said I work at an immigration firm in the Pearl (shoutout to Passage Immigration Law!), found us online, and called my office to speak with me. Easiest mattress shopping experience ever! Limited selection of high-quality locally manufactured mattresses. Found a mattress undoubtedly made from cloud matter with free delivery the following day! Also removed my old mattress for recycling for a small fee. Couldn’t be happier with my experience!

I went to Parklane at a family member's recommendation. I knew I wanted to support a local business and also buy a product that was made sustainably and with the environment in mind. I found that at Parklane.Joni, the staff person who helped me was very knowledgeable.. she wasn't pushy about selling me a bed, but more concerned about helping me find something that would work best for me.The delivery guys were great too, very fast and very friendly. Quality products, knowledgeable and friendly salespeople - this is where you should go if you want to take your time and not feel pressured or bombarded by sales pressures, etc. Maybe slightly more expensive than other places offering seasonal sales, but worth it in my opinion.

easy buying experience: low-pressure and informative sales folks. Several months after purchase, one leg of the bed frame broke. Parklane sent someone out the very next day. He found a manufacturing defect, then got a replacement part and came back later that same day to fix it.
