No, two twin mattresses do not make a king mattress. A twin mattress is five inches shorter than a king mattress. You will need to use two twin XL mattresses if you would like to make a king mattress.
Since a split king is two mattresses combined, it is recommended to use twin XL fitted sheets and a king flat sheet on a split king mattress. We do not encourage using king fitted sheets because they could fall off when using an adjustable base.
