No, two twin mattresses do not make a king mattress. This is because a twin mattress is five inches shorter than a king mattress. Therefore, if you want to create a king-sized sleeping surface, you will need to use two twin XL mattresses instead.
Since a split king consists of two mattresses combined, it is recommended to use twin XL fitted sheets along with a king flat sheet on a split king mattress. Additionally, we do not encourage using king fitted sheets because they may fall off when used with an adjustable base.
