Hawthorne Firm
I sleep on my back and hate feeling like I am trapped in a mattress. This bed is so firm and comfortable, I can even feel the extra support in my lower back. Sometimes super firm beds do not fill in that lower back area which makes me wake up sore. Not this one! I have been sleeping much better already.
I am finally waking up feeling refreshed! My spine and muscles feel great. I find it helpful to lay on my back to activate my Parasympathetic nervous system, and this bed provides the support to do so. I have slept well on my stomach and sides on this mattress too. I’m glad I made the switch to this mattress from the previous medium support mattress that I was previously using. Because of this mattresses firmness and support where my body needs it, I’m finally aligned in the morning without feeling like my bones were wrested into a pretzel. My friend even commented on how I seem to appear more rested than I previously did. I think we have this concept that beds should be “soft as a cloud” but the reality is that if it’s too soft or plush it’s not supportive enough, especially if you are a taller or larger person.

I had a Parklane mattress for many years that I loved, but recently moved and wanted the same thing in King size. The salesperson showed me this as the most similar to my older version, and I am loving it so far! I always have liked a very firm mattress, and sometimes it is hard to find one firm enough. I am very happy with my purchase.
